- Our Neighborhood Voices is a 501 (c) (4) social welfare nonprofit.
What’s the difference?
Donations to the 501 (c) (3) support our efforts to educate Californians about Sacramento’s attacks on local authority and the real causes of the housing affordability crisis. We’re exposing the issues, raising awareness, and building a base of support. 501 (c) (3) donations are tax-deductible and are not publicly disclosed.
Donations to the 501 (c) (4) support our political efforts to pass the ONV Initiative, including signature gathering to qualify it for the ballot, and the general political campaign to prevail in the election. 501 (c) (4) donations are not tax-deductible, and donations above $100 are publicly disclosed pursuant to election law.
